GALESBURG, Ill. -- The Augustana Vikings women's JV golf team dropped a dual match vs. Carl Sandburg on Wednesday by two strokes. Augie shot 383, while the Chargers posted 381.

Emma Vander Wall took home first place after shooting 90 to sit two shots ahead of the golfer in second. Three of the top five placements belonged to Augustana as Kristin Rundle finished fourth with her score of 96, followed by Ellie Jahn in fifth with a round tally of 97. Ciera Krogman notched a top-10 placement after hitting 100 to finish eighth.

Other scores for Augie were Lydia Hall (109) and Grace Kemp (114).

The Vikings will be back in action on April 12-13 for the Kathy Niepagen Invite.
