ROCK ISLAND -- The Augustana Vikings women's golf team finished second out of seven teams at the Viking Invitational  over the weekend with a total score of 646. The Vikings' B team finished in a tie for fifth with a score of 689.

Sarah Bond led the team with a fourth place finish after hitting 78 in both rounds for a total of 156. Georgia Holt followed in fifth after shooting 78 and 80 over the weekend for a final score of 158. Olivia Schwingle tied for seventh after shooting 79 in round one and 82 in round two for a total of 161. 

Kelsey O'Connor finished in a tie for 11th after hitting 164 with round scores of 81 and 83. Jama Burch followed in 13th after shooting round scores of 89 and 76 for a final score of 165. Burch tied the school record for most birdies in a single round with six on Sunday. Abby Buechele placed 16th with a final score of 168 with round scores of 83 and 85. 

Other scores for Augie were Emma Vander Wall (175), Ellie Jahn (176), Alexus Morrow (187), Ciera Krogman (188), and Lydia Hall (189).

This concludes the season for the Augustana women's golf team.
