GALESBURG, Ill. -- The Augustana Vikings men's golf team finished in a tie for second out of seven teams over the weekend at the Knox Invitational with a collective score of 600, while the B team scored 630 to place fifth.

Drake Stoudt took home first place after shooting 146 on the weekend with round scores of 72 and 74. Patrick McGrath followed one stroke behind in a tie for second after hitting 71 in round one and 76 on day two for a total of 147. Sam Evenson finished in a three-way tie for sixth with a total of 149 after hitting a low of 69 in round one before 80 on Sunday. Jacob Brokaw and Kevin Cortez tied for 14th after hitting 155. Adam Soczka obtained 18th with round scores of 75 and 80 for a total of 155 and Alexandre Thery notched a top-20 placement after hitting 79 and 78 for a total of 157.

Other scorers were Noah Ehlenbach (163), Aiden Salcedo (164), and Thomas Fornelli (170).

The Vikings will be back in action on April 26-27 to host the Viking Invitational at Highland Springs Golf Course.
