PLATTEVILLE, Wis. -- The Augustana Vikings men's track & field team wrapped up the two-day UW-Platteville Invite on Saturday.

On Friday, Joe Langridge placed 19th out of over 270 runners in the 5,000m with a time of 14:22.74, good for second all-time in Augustana program history. On Saturday, Jose Gomez took seventh out of 13 competitors in the same race with a mark of 16:21.41. Bayley Pierce placed sixth in the 400m hurdles after clocking 57.24, also earning seventh in the 110m hurdles with a time of 15.97. 

Magnus Wells saw success in the javelin on Saturday, finishing in third place after posting a distance of 54.03m on his first attempt. Mike Hudson also finished in seventh in the event with a mark of 49.92m.

The Vikings will be back in action for the two-day Meet of Champions at home beginning on Thursday.
