SPRINGFIELD, Ill. -- The Augustana Vikings men's golf gold team finished sixth out of 19 teams on Friday with a total score of 604. The blue team followed in eighth with 625 after two rounds.  

Adam Soczka led the way with a score of 147 with round scores of 73 and 74 to finish 14th out of 110 individuals. Kevin Cortez followed in 16th after hitting 73 and 75 for a total of 148. Sam Evenson notched 21st after shooting 149 at the two-day event with round scores of 73 and 76. Alexandre Thery secured a top-30 placement with a score of 73 in round one and 78 on day two for a total of 151. 

Other scorers for Augie were Drake Stoudt (154), Jacob Brokaw (155), Patrick McGrath (156), Noah Ehlenbach (164), Aiden Salcedo (166), and Luke Petersen (170). 

The Vikings will be back in action on April 12-13 for the Knox Invitational.
