WAVERLY, Iowa -- AJ Banks set a new school record in the 60m hurdles on Saturday to highlight the Augustana men's track & field team's trip to the Wartburg Qualifier.
Banks posted a school-record time of 8.27 in the 60m hurdles preliminaries before finishing the finals in 8.31 to finish in fifth place.
Brayden Veil also saw success in the same event, clocking a personal-best time of 8.50 in the prelims. Veil's time of 8.54 placed him seventh in the finals. In the 200m,
Ben Char clocked a time of 22.36 to secure a new personal record.
In field events,
Magnus Wells finished in the top five in both the weight throw and shot put.
The Vikings will await the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships selections to be released tomorrow.
