PLATTEVILLE, Wis. -- Members of the Augustana men's and women's track & field teams ventured to Wisconsin for the Platteville Last Chance meet on Friday.

Magnus Wells was the top finisher in the weight throw after distance of 18.40m, also coming in third in the shot put event with a mark of 14.69. Landon Wierenga also competed in the weight throw, tossing 16.06m to end in seventh. Bayley Pierce posted a personal-best time of 8.73 in the 60m hurdles to grab the fourth-fastest time of the night.

On the women's side, Liz Hayes was third in the long jump at 4.40m and second in the triple jump at 10.27m. Lauren Oelke posted a time of 9.80 in the 60m hurdles.

Augustana will be back in action Saturday at the Wartburg Qualifier.
