ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Magnus Wells and Joe Langridge represented the Augustana Vikings men's track & field team at the NCAA Division III National Championships on Friday, each notching All-American honors in their respective events.

In one of the first events of the weekend, Wells boasted a First Team All-American effort in the weight throw, finishing in eighth place overall after posting a distance of 18.96m. Wells bounced back from a 16.62m toss in his first attempt with consecutive throws over 18 meters. His furthest heave of 18.96m came on his third try. Wells is just the second Augustana All-American in the weight throw event in men's program history.

Later in the day, Langridge collected Second Team All-Conference after his 14th place finish in the 5,000m. He crossed the finish line in 14:33.29 to become the first Augustana All-American in the event since 1998.
