WHITEWATER, Wis. -- The Augustana Vikings women's track & field team had its turn at the Squig Converse Invitational on Saturday, finishing eighth out of 11 teams. The Vikings saw 21 lifetime bests and four season bests.

Emma Odle had a successful day on the track, earning a second-place finish in the mile run with a time of 5:12.42. Odle also scored points for the team in the 800m, grabbing a sixth-place finish after clocking a time of 2:27.00. Lina Maatouk was the winner of the of the 800m after posting a time of 2:16.93. Also in the mile, Madison Wies scored for Augie after coming in seventh and securing a season-best time of 5:40.60. In the 3,000m, Keira Nelson ran a time of 11:06.12 to earn a sixth-place standing and score for the Vikings.
