ROCK ISLAND -- The Augustana Vikings JV men's golf team faced the St. Ambrose Fighting Bees on Wednesday resulting in a one-stroke win with a final score of 313.

Dylan Malecha tied for medalist honors shooting a 76 before beating St. Ambrose on the first playoff hole to claim the medal. Rodrigo Faundez-Sanchez hit 78 on the day and Ryan Crowe followed with a round score of 79. Teague Mayer and Steven Kitzman closed out the competition with a score of 80. 

The Vikings will return to action tomorrow for the two-day Fyre Lake Invitational.
