MONMOUTH, Ill. -- Andrew Reishus of the Augustana Vikings men's golf team stole the show on Sunday, sinking a hole-in-one on the 13th hole at Gibson Woods CC to help lead the Vikings B team to a fourth-place finish out of 11 teams. The Vikings C team also competed in the two-day event, finishing in seventh place with a total of 634.

Thomas Fornelli led the Vikings with round scores of 75 and 74 to sit in eighth place with a total of 149. Oscar Van Dongen followed in 12th with a total of 154 after hitting 80 and 74, while Jakob Stefanowicz shot 156 with scores of 75 and 81 to finish in a six-way tie for 18th. Justin Goebel and Elias Evander notched top 25 placements for the C team after both finished the invite in a tie for 24th with a total score of 157.

Other finishers for Augie were Teague Mayer (165), Reishus (166), and Ryan Crowe (175). 

The Vikings will return to action on Friday, September 20 for the Midwest Region Classic.
