METAMORA, Ill. -- The Augustana Vikings women's golf team concluded the 2024 CCIW Championship in a tie for fourth out of eight teams with a final score of 988 after three rounds. 

Abby Buechele led the Vikings in a tie for 11th place with a final score of 241, posting round scores of 84, 79, and 78. Sarah Bond followed in 18th after hitting 79, 83, and 86 for a total of 258. Kelsey O'Connor finished in 22nd with a final score of 252 after hitting 86, 84, and 82 at the event, while Jama Burch was one stroke behind in 23rd shooting 253 with round scores of 82, 84, and 87. Georgia Holt notched a top-25 placement after hitting 90, 83, and 82 to finish with a score of 255, while Alexus Morrow finished with 267 after shooting 89, 92, and 86. 

Following the competition, O'Connor earned the CCIW RESPECT award for Augustana. 

The Vikings will be back in action on October 14 to host the Deere Run Invitational.
