Terre Haute, Ind. – An 11th-place finish for fifth-year Emma Odle at the DIII Pre-Nationals meet led the way for the Viking women this evening. Odle finished the 6k race with a time of 21:48.54, a personal best by roughly 10 seconds.
 
Keira Nelson was the Vikings' number two. Her time of 24:17.74 was also a personal best over the 6k distance.
 
Ellie DeFarno, Sammy Lehr, and Marie Weber rounded out the top five. DeFarno finished in 24:44.16, Lehr with a time of 24:46.86, and Weber with a 25:22.66. The runs by Lehr and Weber also bettered their previous personal bests.
 
The Vikings will be back in action on October 19 for the Augustana Interregional Invite at Saukie Golf Course.
